The Timber Legality Verification System (SVLK) is a system developed by the Indonesian government as a commitment to combat illegal logging and illegal timber trade. The FLEGT / V-Legal document acts as a guarantee of the legality of Indonesian timber which will enter the international market, especially the European Union, the United States, Japan and Australia.
There are 3 groups of business actors in this industry that are required to carry out SVLK certification:
1. Sustainable Production Forest Management (PHPL)
2. Forest VLK
3. VLK Industry
MUTU International has been established as a Timber Legality Verification Agency (LV-LK) since 2010 and has been designated as an FLRGT / V-Legal Document Issuing Agency since 2013.
