Why is arrowroot tuber suitable for ulcer therapy & stomach acid? because it contains BIOACTIVE COMPOUNDS, namely Water Soluble Polysaccharides (PLA) and Diosgenin which have the potential as medicinal plants, are alkaline, high in carbohydrates and are able to neutralize excess stomach acid and coat the stomach so as to reduce irritation.
