How Indonesia’s Coffee Industry is Creating Export Opportunities for Businesses

Indonesia is currently the world's fourth-largest producer of coffee beans, trailing only Brazil, Vietnam and Colombia in this regard. In the last several years, the Indonesian coffee sector has experienced tremendous growth. Approximately 12,600 coffee farms covered an area of 8,600 hectares in the United States in 2017, according to the most recent available data (19,600 acres).

In the next five years, coffee exports are expected to expand at a rate of 5 percent per year, according to forecasts.
 
Developing countries such as Indonesia and Vietnam are rapidly increasing their coffee markets, and countries such as Thailand are following suit.
Exporting coffee through trade shows, tours, and companies that sell coffee products to consumers or wholesalers in countries other than Indonesia are just a few of the alternatives available.
