Bank Indonesia (BI), together with the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Kemenko Marves), the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (Kemenkop UKM), the Ministry of Trade (Kemenag), the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf), the Ministry of SOEs, the Ministry Industry (Kemenperin), and MadeinIndonesia.com presents the Indonesian Creative Work (KKI) 2022 event as an event to celebrate the revival and recovery of MSMEs.
This year's KKI carries the theme "Indonesian MSMEs Rise through Digitalization and Globalization Towards Sustainable Economic Growth" with #BersamaUMKMBangkit and #UMKMgodigital_goglobal. This event will be held online during 18-29 May 2022 and offline from 26-29 May 2022 through an exhibition enlivened by around 200 MSMEs from all over Indonesia assisted by BI and the 6 Ministries mentioned above in Hall A, Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).
KKI, which has been held since 2016, is a joint strategy to encourage financial inclusion, digitize MSMEs, and connect MSMEs with global export partners. KKI 2022 is a synergy of various Ministries, particularly Gernas BBI, with the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.
In addition, there is knowledge sharing and facilitation of curation from the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs and consumer protection, trade regulations, and export consultations from the Ministry of Trade. The Ministry of Industry contributes by presenting a consulting clinic for brand design, packaging, and Intellectual Property Rights for Small and Medium Industry (IKM) players, as well as the Ministry of SOEs through facilitating access to financing and MSME payment systems as well as knowledge sharing on global market competitiveness and funding. The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy also opened a consultation regarding Intellectual Property Rights (HKI) for Creative MSMEs. In addition, synergy is also carried out through the participation of MSMEs assisted by the Ministry in MSME showcases and export business matching and financing.
At the event, which took place on 26-29 at JCC, the public could visit and transact at the UMKM exhibition. Meanwhile, MSMEs can carry out consultations provided by the above Ministry and conduct business matching to obtain financing and access to global markets. Parallel to these activities, hybrid events will be held, such as webinars on women's entrepreneurship and financial inclusion, digital talk shows, MSME celebrations, and creative work performances featuring processed products of Indonesian fabrics so that they have high added value.
Through synergies involving several vital partners and supporting partners such as the National Craft Council (Dekranas), banking, marketplace, industry, export aggregators like MadeinIndonesia.com, as well as associations and communities, all Ministries and Institutions believe KKI can support the Proudly Made in Indonesia National Movement (Gernas) ) and Proud to Travel #DiIndonesiaAja (BWI) and the Indonesian Presidency at the G20 in realizing the spirit of "Recover Together, Recover Stronger."
