Astra Otoparts Participated in the 3rd International Internal Assurance International Conference

Industry 4.0 helped drive changes in industrial business to become faster, more competitive and complex. It is also fitting for the support of higher education institutions to produce graduates who are ready to face the industrial revolution 4.0. Quality graduates, accreditation and external quality assurance, as well as internal quality assurance (IQA) in higher education institutions become one of the most important ways to monitor and manage the quality of these educational institutions.


Realizing the importance of these matters, the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs (Belmawa), the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) held the 3rd IQA International Conference with the theme Higher Education 4.0 through strengthening IQA towards strengthening IQA towards International Recognition in Bali, 5 August 2019 then.

Attended by 222 participants from 96 universities that have been accredited A, this international conference invited speakers from within the country and various countries to discuss the quality assurance of higher education in Indonesia.

Hamdhani Dzulkarnaen Salim President Director of Astra Otoparts who also serves as chairman of the Astra Bina Ilmu Foundation and Chair of the GIAMM (Association of Car and Motorcycle Equipment Industries) also contributed to the conference at the international conference by stressing that there must be engagement between industry and universities in addition to relevance skills, a willingness to innovate and also a good mental attitude. Because in Industry 4.0 as the main focus of the national development plan, the creation of a more integrated government-industry-university ecosystem can encourage innovation to increase economic growth, especially in the technical sector.
